Twenty Korn Ferry Tour players earned PGA Tour cards for 2027 when the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship concluded on Sunday, and one of them is a 19-year-old pro. Those players now have a head start on the top tier as the PGA Tour’s two-track system debuts in 2028.
Doc Redman, a former U.S. Amateur champion, played his way back onto the PGA Tour, and he is among the players who made the most of a critical season. Next season, 2027, will be pivotal for players trying to reach the Championship Series, the top tier. Owning a PGA Tour card for 2027 gives players a clear advantage in that push.
